Branch Trip to The Greyhound Inn, Llangunllo

Saturday 16 March 2024

On Saturday 16th March 2024, Radnorshire CAMRA Branch met at The Greyhound Inn, Llangunllo.

Thanks to the landlord Paul for opening a couple of hours early for us to accommodate four members who travelled to Llangunllo by train. For those familiar with the Heart of wales rail line, Llangunllo is one of those stations a good distance from the community it serves. So on alighting at Llangunllo station four of us had a 25 minute walk to the pub. It was well worth it as The Greyhound pub had x3 real ales on handpump all of which were in excellent condition. Wadsworth 6x, Hobsons Spring Break and the quite rare All Nations Home brewed Ale were available. There was also a draught cider option from Westons. Another five members made it to the meeting via other means so we had a very good turnout this month. Branch secretary Dave Gill was busy making notes and all agreed it had been a lovely return visit to this well loved local. Paul behind the pumps at The Greyhound.
